As a Pastor, Missionary, Layman, etc., what has been one of your most exciting times in the work to which God has called you? If you do not want to be specific, then give a general discussion concerning some highlights in your work for the Lord.

My highlights have to do with preaching and leading people to the Lord. One Sunday a.m. we had several professions of faith in one service; as camp evangelist on three occasions several made professions of faith; the one on one times when in the office, the hospital, or on visitation when I get to be present when someone is saved; seeing young adults grow in the Lord and assume responsibilities in the church such as teaching; watching young people learn the joy of participating in worship; realizing a little of the senior adult's faith, courage and faithfulness in spite of the aches and pains. In all these things, God is at work - when I can see that, I have a mountain top experience with the Lord.
Probably the times a few boys spoke to me about surrendering to the ministry, and three of them did because they knew it was God's will. It just excites me to know there will be ministers to carry on the work, even after I'm gone. I know they are only a few years younger than I am, but even that shows God will keep calling, and at least for now men will keep answering.
