A False Messiah?

According to several reputable news agencies, people are now calling Barack Hussein Obama the savior and messiah (lower case letters intentionally used). Whether they mean of this nation or not, it is a chilling thought to even have those labels attached to a person. There have been many instances of people fainting at the sight of him (come on now...you've got to be kidding me) and even a great roar of applause as he blew his nose.

However, this "got me to thinking" about how easily people will be deceived by the antichrist. If all it takes is a well-dressed, likable, good motivational speaker to make people abandon their principles and vote against their "party," then how easy will it be for Satan to use his antichrist to fool the lost and unbelieving world. Besides, the world already is looking for anything that looks good and denies Christ, so no wonder many will fall prey to his schemes.

Now while I am not accusing anyone of being an antichrist, Obama's massive following does help us to see how such movements occur.

Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time - I John 2:18.

I only have one thing to say about the upcoming election, “PRAY!!!!!!”

Our choices are very limited & Obama’s strong showing in the polls show how smart Satan is. He knows how to package things attractively & that is exactly what he is doing with Obama. I am considering voting in the Democratic Primary just to vote against him, then pray & hope like crazy the GOP can beat Mrs. Clinton.

Senators Clinton & Obama have continually lambasted President Bush in this campaign & stated during the debates, “…that he hasn’t fulfilled any of the things he promised to do when he arrived in office because he has been so distracted by Iraq…” HMMM!! I wonder if FDR was distracted by WWII!!!! George W. did not start this war-----we we attacked on 9/11!!!!

Shortly after 9/11, OUR president addressed the nation and promised that in the war on terrorism, “We will not tire, we will not falter, we will not fail.” Fellow Christians, it is time for us to make that our motto for spreading the Word of God. We don’t have much time left.

P.S.
To all of the Ron Paul supporters, while I applaud your willingness to take a stand, please remember that the election in 1992 may have ended differently without Ross Perot.

Matt...I couldn't agree more with your assessment. The world, as we know it anyway, seems to be swooning over Obama. He has a massive following and it keeps growing.
I find it hard to believe that a man with the name hussein, muslim ties and belonging to such a militant church is this close to being elected president of the great United States.
We do need to pray for this election b/c we are commanded to pray for our leaders so that we might lead a quiet and peaceable life. Pres. Bush ends his talks with good night, and God bless America...I think we need to start to say, "God HELP America."
