All-Time Greatest

Well, here's a fun post for you. I've been listening to Sirius Radio as I've been posting, etc. (and yes Philip, I'm a "punkrocker"!), so I've been able to hear some great music. Now since this is my post, I will start with four of my favorite bands and of course those of you who know me, know who #1 is!!!

1. U2
2. Newsboys
3. Depeche Mode
4. Coldplay

Now, add some bands to this list. The band can be any genre, but let's keep all band names clean please!

Well, it was funny when you ate those "chili pepper" chips and your face got "red hot" last night!

Ah, how could I have left out the SPROCKET!!!
"Pray Your Gods," "Crazy Life," "I Will Not Take These Things For Granted," "Before You Were Born," "Desire," "Come Down," "Dam Would Break," ...
PURE GENIUS!! Forgive me Steph, for I have neglected to honor the awesomeness of the Sprocket.

Huh? You sure you don't have me confused with another bald white guy? I know there's alot of us around, but man...

Oh, I get it now! "Red Hot Chili Peppers!" The band with a talented bass player and drummer, average (maybe) guitarist, and pitiful "singer." You like those imbiciles? I'm calling you out on that one!!
Oh, yeah, and Steph got it right with including the Normals. Let's also add Information Society and Cause and Effect to rep the techno side.

Well, I suppose I am the only country bumpkin around here... but I'll throw some names in there:

Brad Paisley
Pat Green
Alabama
George Strait
Jerry Reed (Musician and actor- best remembered as SNowman from Smokey and the Bandit, also performed the music for the Smokey and the Bandit soundtrack).

Favorite Christian artists of all time:

Michael W. Smith
Rich Mullins
Avalon
Point of Grace
Jackie Velasquez

Honorable mentions from both categories: Big Tent Revival, Whitecross, Rez (aka The Ressurection Band), Nicole Nordeman. Miranda Lambert, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Brooks N Dunn, Cory Morrow, Waylon Jennings, Lee Ann Womack, Confederate Railroad.

Am I excommunicated yet? :-P

I must throw a red flag at your Christian music choices. My, my, MY!
