Just wondering?

Do you ever feel like you are making a difference? Nothing weird or anything. But do you ever wonder if you are accomplishing what God wants you to accomplish? Of course, the good thing is that the results are in God's hands. We are told to be obedient and let Him handle the rest!

I rely heavily on Isaiah 55:8-11 to make it through some days.

God sends his words like rain drops. Rain drops are sent to do different things on earth including helping plants feed and produce seed.

His Word is sent to do different things including convicting of sin, piercing the hearts of men and dividing asunder those parts we cannot see, giving doctrine, giving reproof, shedding light to our path and feet, giving correction, giving instruction of righteousness, thoroughly furnishing the man of God to all good works, helping us to not be ashamed, but rather approved workmen of God, and showing us who we really are as a clear mirror. We know faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.

We also see many examples of the words of God and the preaching of those words can cause in people (both positive and negative reactions.)

My point is this. There is no way we can possibly know everything in every person's life which needs changing. Only God can know. Only God does know, and did know when He wrote the words He did and preserved them for us today.

It is only the authority of the Bible on which we can rest, and preach with trust/faith that God will do His part.
